♪ Oh honey honey....♪ ♩ ♫ ♬

That's what we are giving as wedding favours!!

I always had honey or jam in mind for doorgifts. Just needed Mom's approval on this. And now that she okays the idea, I went scouting for honey suppliers (Mom wants honey since she said its more Moroccan than jam) and glass jars suppliers.

Seriously, I learned a LOT from wedding planning. Hehe. Like do you know that there is only one glass manufacturers in Malaysia? They are based in Batu Pahat y'all! Hee, that's my kampung ;) Anyways, they have several distributors and I have been in touch with one of them, QualityPack. The price that they quoted me is very very reasonable!! So, one task completed! Ordering my glass jars from them. Weeeeeeee...!

Sample of the glass jars that I'm eye-ing;

The globe jar is 100ml while the hexagonal jar is 110ml.

I also have found a few suppliers for honey. One is based in Melaka with a kilang in Klang. Price quoted is also quite reasonable. But, we haven't finalised anything with them yet since Mom is also asking her friends for other honey suppliers. So, pending that, we are still honey-less. But, no biggie, we have a few back-ups just in case!

I'm hoping to get the honey to look like the picture.

But, instead of the plain white cloth, we are using doily papers. Cantik kan? Ni kena mintak Puan Amy punya tips ni. *wink*

Fashion Styles: Blouse

If you have been following me on this blog, you’d probably know that I’m such a girly girl. I just love being a girl. Seriously, what’s not to love? We have the best in fashion. Fashion is dedicated to us, women! From hair bands and clips to shoes and stockings, and everything in between. I had many fashion phases growing up. The “Clueless” inspired fashion; checkered pants, preppy blouses and small furry backpacks, short dresses with platforms ala Baby Spice and so much more. But, as I grow older, I stuck to a classic and simple style. My husband loves it when I’m dressed in a simple skinny jeans/pants and blouse . And that has been my staple since I got married. I admit – I would love to be more adventurous in my styles (like in my younger days) but I don’t think my husband can tolerate that. Lol. Over the years of experimenting, I have learned what’s good on me and what’s not, what I like and what I dislike. I prefer blouses; smart casual mostly to cotton tshirts. After tur...

Crates Crazy!

Ohmygod!! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for our home office!!!!! Ahhh, and to think that I got the inspiration without looking at any pictures/blogs/etc. I feel like I very creative like that. Anyhoos, mine hasn't materialized yet because I haven't found the crates in KL. I called up one of the wine shops (simply because they are the ones that use crates and would prolly have them) in Desa Sri Hartamas, but they said they don't keep theirs. ??!! I have to say, tho, that I haven't been trying hard enough. I could just drop by and ask from all these wine shops, Cold Storage etc. Okay, I am now driven to do so. After looking at the beautiful end product! Wish me luck in my search. If you know where I can get them, do tell! Thank you. Photo taken from Pinterest
