Negative

That's the results of our HIV test, hehe.

Yeap, we finally crossed that off our list. Phewwwww. I'm so glad that we got that over and done with. Leceh betul nak kahwin kat Malaysia ni kan? Pfft.

We did our test in Poliklinik Komuniti Tang Lin. Called them up last week to get us a slot. And the lady told me that our appointment is confirmed at 2pm. Went there and realised that the area is jam-packed with cars for the Friday prayers! Yishhhh, had to menempel at some cars and luckily ada this guy came out earlier than the rest. It was already 1.50pm then. Took his parking space and hurriedly walked to the clinic, only to discover that the clinic's evening session opens at 2.45pm!!!!!!!!!!! Ishhhhh, geram betul! Thanks a lot, lady on the phone! You just wasted my time. *sneers*

Fiance arrived just before the clinic opens. Went inside to register and paid rm1 each. Filled some borangs which we got there itself. And off we went to do the test. The nurse gave us some "counselling" where she basically talked about the disease etc. Did the test and got the results there and then. After that, went to see the doctor who were supposed to question us about HIV but didnt and voila, one item checked!

When you read about the process, it's as if we were the for a short while je. But, in actual fact, we were there for almost 3 hours! We had to wait a LOT! Nak tunggu register lah, nak tunggu borang lah, nak tunggu nurse tu set-up kan the HIV kit lah, nak tunggu doctor lah. Semua kena tunggu!

Oh well, I'm just glad that's over!

Fashion Styles: Blouse

If you have been following me on this blog, you’d probably know that I’m such a girly girl. I just love being a girl. Seriously, what’s not to love? We have the best in fashion. Fashion is dedicated to us, women! From hair bands and clips to shoes and stockings, and everything in between. I had many fashion phases growing up. The “Clueless” inspired fashion; checkered pants, preppy blouses and small furry backpacks, short dresses with platforms ala Baby Spice and so much more. But, as I grow older, I stuck to a classic and simple style. My husband loves it when I’m dressed in a simple skinny jeans/pants and blouse . And that has been my staple since I got married. I admit – I would love to be more adventurous in my styles (like in my younger days) but I don’t think my husband can tolerate that. Lol. Over the years of experimenting, I have learned what’s good on me and what’s not, what I like and what I dislike. I prefer blouses; smart casual mostly to cotton tshirts. After tur...

Crates Crazy!

Ohmygod!! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for our home office!!!!! Ahhh, and to think that I got the inspiration without looking at any pictures/blogs/etc. I feel like I very creative like that. Anyhoos, mine hasn't materialized yet because I haven't found the crates in KL. I called up one of the wine shops (simply because they are the ones that use crates and would prolly have them) in Desa Sri Hartamas, but they said they don't keep theirs. ??!! I have to say, tho, that I haven't been trying hard enough. I could just drop by and ask from all these wine shops, Cold Storage etc. Okay, I am now driven to do so. After looking at the beautiful end product! Wish me luck in my search. If you know where I can get them, do tell! Thank you. Photo taken from Pinterest
