Runnnnnnnnn....

Okay, one of my personal goals here is to lose some weight.

After almost a month here, I haven't started on any exercise regime nor have I started dieting. #facepalm

The only exercise I get here is the walks that I *have* to take wherever I go. My pedometer says I take on average of about 5,000+ steps each day. And that's not enough! I need to take 10,000 steps each day in order to shift that fat. Gah.

And although I'm not dieting, at least I'm eating good healthy food. More soups, salads, vegetables and fruits. And the occasional chocolates and candies:p So, not too bad.

But, I'm STILL not losing the kgs! Aih. Losing weight is no easy feat man.

So, I've decided to start running. Only to realised that I don't have my running shoes *slapsforehead*

Now, I'm scouting around for good, comfortable, long-lasting and not-too-pricey running shoes.

For a girl who has a LOT of shoes and LOVE 'em pretty soles, I have no skill in choosing good running shoes. Pretty and pink are just not good criteria for running shoes!

Honestly, I'm just stumped. I went to Westfield last weekend to find running shoes and came back with clothes instead. #total fail.

I need help! Any suggestions? If it helps, I have low arches. This, I know, because I checked at one of those sports shop last week.

Boooooo!

Fashion Styles: Blouse

If you have been following me on this blog, you’d probably know that I’m such a girly girl. I just love being a girl. Seriously, what’s not to love? We have the best in fashion. Fashion is dedicated to us, women! From hair bands and clips to shoes and stockings, and everything in between. I had many fashion phases growing up. The “Clueless” inspired fashion; checkered pants, preppy blouses and small furry backpacks, short dresses with platforms ala Baby Spice and so much more. But, as I grow older, I stuck to a classic and simple style. My husband loves it when I’m dressed in a simple skinny jeans/pants and blouse . And that has been my staple since I got married. I admit – I would love to be more adventurous in my styles (like in my younger days) but I don’t think my husband can tolerate that. Lol. Over the years of experimenting, I have learned what’s good on me and what’s not, what I like and what I dislike. I prefer blouses; smart casual mostly to cotton tshirts. After tur...

Crates Crazy!

Ohmygod!! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for our home office!!!!! Ahhh, and to think that I got the inspiration without looking at any pictures/blogs/etc. I feel like I very creative like that. Anyhoos, mine hasn't materialized yet because I haven't found the crates in KL. I called up one of the wine shops (simply because they are the ones that use crates and would prolly have them) in Desa Sri Hartamas, but they said they don't keep theirs. ??!! I have to say, tho, that I haven't been trying hard enough. I could just drop by and ask from all these wine shops, Cold Storage etc. Okay, I am now driven to do so. After looking at the beautiful end product! Wish me luck in my search. If you know where I can get them, do tell! Thank you. Photo taken from Pinterest
