Birthday Party Favours: Fatih Altaf (Part 2)

Okay, sorry for this overdue post!

So, I told you how I finally figured how to make hot air balloons out of plastic buckets and paper lanterns, and what a relief that felt.

For the final party packs, I actually used paper lanterns in blue and orange, instead of the white used in the prototype. I initailly wanted to glue some fun fabrics onto the lanterns, but decided to make it simple. I didn't want it to be too colourful. Takut serabut pulak.

I took some twines to tie the sides if the bucket to the lantern, to give the hot air balloon a more realistic feel to it. Added some mini bunting across the bucket along with the thank you cards.

In the end, I was pretty satisfied with the finished product. The party packs were filled to the brim with goodies, so I guess adalah hikamahnya I tak tukar plastic bucket tu.

And here they are, in all blue and orange!

And here is the final product!

All ready. Blue & Orange happiness.
Hot Air Balloon Party Favours.

Pretty lanterns. They make me smile.

All photos belong to PinkBrolly Events. I'll be more than happy if you want to share them, but I would also appreciate very much if you could credit and link them to this blog. Thanks :)

Crates Crazy!

Ohmygod!! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for our home office!!!!! Ahhh, and to think that I got the inspiration without looking at any pictures/blogs/etc. I feel like I very creative like that. Anyhoos, mine hasn't materialized yet because I haven't found the crates in KL. I called up one of the wine shops (simply because they are the ones that use crates and would prolly have them) in Desa Sri Hartamas, but they said they don't keep theirs. ??!! I have to say, tho, that I haven't been trying hard enough. I could just drop by and ask from all these wine shops, Cold Storage etc. Okay, I am now driven to do so. After looking at the beautiful end product! Wish me luck in my search. If you know where I can get them, do tell! Thank you. Photo taken from Pinterest

To my dearest J, hope you had a wonderful birthday. I pray that you and your lil family be blessed always with boutifuls of rezeki and happiness. Here's to a lifetime of friendship! Love you xx A I think I should stop before you cringe and puke. When I say you, I dont mean you my dear readers. I meant her, the girl who's heart is made of steel. Hehe. I kid, Jid. :p

Yogyakarta, Indonesia

We are going to Yogyakarta for a short getaway, yay!  Husband and I have been talking about going away during our Month of Love since we got married, 3 years ago. We finally get to do so this year since there no cousins/relatives getting married this time around.  Since I don't have a lot of annual leave (-___-) we decided to go someplace near. Husband loves the hustle and bustle of citylife and I've been wanting to see Borobudur, so Yogyakarta is the perfect destination for us!  Aside from Borobodur, we haven't done our research yet as to what we want to see and do there. So any inputs from you would be awesome!  I'm also looking forward to staying in the hotel. One thing about me is that I LOVE myself some fancy hotels!  And the place we are staying at is just that. In pictures that is. I hope it's not one of those 'indah khabar dari rupa' type.  Here, check it out.  Lobby Poolside Deluxe Room  Pretty, ...
