Happy Birthday, Reese!

Pretty lil' lady, Reese

Ahhhh, it's my "baby" niece's 7th birthday today!

How time flies. It feels like only yesterday that I got the call that my cousin has given birth to a chubby, cute and sweet baby girl. I was in my second year of university then! Ooh, I'm getting old.

I remember when I got back from the UK that summer, I visited her almost every single day. She was such a good and happy baby. I cannot even remember the time where she had cried or threw a tantrum, because there was almost none!

It is impossible not to fall in love with Reese. Her cuteness is not only on her appearance but also her chatters. Ohhh, her chatters will leave you dumbfounded at times. She is wise beyond her age. Recently, she told my mum that I need to start a family because if not "it will be such a lonely life" when I get older. MasyaAllah, only God knows what goes in her mind.

I still cant believe that she is seven already. In my eyes, she will always be the baby who "yikes" (like) the colour "purpey"(purple)!

To Reese, (I'm sure you'll learn how to google search your name sometime in the near future)

I'm so proud at what a wonderful, kind hearted and sweet young girl you are growing up into. My thoughts and doas will always be with you. And even though if I can now wear your shoes, you'll always be my baby Sheshe.

Lots of love,
Ad.

Fashion Styles: Blouse

If you have been following me on this blog, you’d probably know that I’m such a girly girl. I just love being a girl. Seriously, what’s not to love? We have the best in fashion. Fashion is dedicated to us, women! From hair bands and clips to shoes and stockings, and everything in between. I had many fashion phases growing up. The “Clueless” inspired fashion; checkered pants, preppy blouses and small furry backpacks, short dresses with platforms ala Baby Spice and so much more. But, as I grow older, I stuck to a classic and simple style. My husband loves it when I’m dressed in a simple skinny jeans/pants and blouse . And that has been my staple since I got married. I admit – I would love to be more adventurous in my styles (like in my younger days) but I don’t think my husband can tolerate that. Lol. Over the years of experimenting, I have learned what’s good on me and what’s not, what I like and what I dislike. I prefer blouses; smart casual mostly to cotton tshirts. After tur...

Crates Crazy!

Ohmygod!! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for our home office!!!!! Ahhh, and to think that I got the inspiration without looking at any pictures/blogs/etc. I feel like I very creative like that. Anyhoos, mine hasn't materialized yet because I haven't found the crates in KL. I called up one of the wine shops (simply because they are the ones that use crates and would prolly have them) in Desa Sri Hartamas, but they said they don't keep theirs. ??!! I have to say, tho, that I haven't been trying hard enough. I could just drop by and ask from all these wine shops, Cold Storage etc. Okay, I am now driven to do so. After looking at the beautiful end product! Wish me luck in my search. If you know where I can get them, do tell! Thank you. Photo taken from Pinterest
