Acme Bar & Coffee

Beautiful ambience. So bright and cosy. Love the floor to ceiling glass windows.

I'm sure most of you have heard of this lil' cafe called Acme Bar & Coffee or ABC, hidden in an apartment building called Troika, very near to KLCC.

I love this place especially because of its ambience. I just LOVE their decor. Very industrial chic. And they serve really good food too, so that's just an awesome combination.

Just last Friday, Sherly and I went to ABC for an after work coffee date.

We walked there, since it's super near our office. With the after-the-rain weather, we berangan like we were walking in London. Until we tried to cross the road and no one is nice enough to stop for us, that is! Haha.

Anyways, we shared the apple & olive oil cake and the sizzling brownie & oreo ice cream. Both so good! But, the brownie takes the crown lah, simply so so good.

Sherly took photos of the food but they're just too ugly too share. You might as well google as there are so many reviews on this cafe.

Photos that I took that night is of course their decor. So beautiful! I don't mind having a sunroom or library modeled after this cafe in my dream house one fine day. Hehe.

Everytime I come here, I'll snap a photo of the toilet. I love the wall of mirrors. So so chic.
Superlove this ladder. I can imagine this in a home library.

If you've never been here, I'd say it's worth a trip! Go with your girlfriends for a long leisurely gossip sesh or with your loved ones for a nice Sunday breakfast. Either way, you'll love this cafe.

Fashion Styles: Blouse

If you have been following me on this blog, you’d probably know that I’m such a girly girl. I just love being a girl. Seriously, what’s not to love? We have the best in fashion. Fashion is dedicated to us, women! From hair bands and clips to shoes and stockings, and everything in between. I had many fashion phases growing up. The “Clueless” inspired fashion; checkered pants, preppy blouses and small furry backpacks, short dresses with platforms ala Baby Spice and so much more. But, as I grow older, I stuck to a classic and simple style. My husband loves it when I’m dressed in a simple skinny jeans/pants and blouse . And that has been my staple since I got married. I admit – I would love to be more adventurous in my styles (like in my younger days) but I don’t think my husband can tolerate that. Lol. Over the years of experimenting, I have learned what’s good on me and what’s not, what I like and what I dislike. I prefer blouses; smart casual mostly to cotton tshirts. After tur...

Crates Crazy!

Ohmygod!! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for our home office!!!!! Ahhh, and to think that I got the inspiration without looking at any pictures/blogs/etc. I feel like I very creative like that. Anyhoos, mine hasn't materialized yet because I haven't found the crates in KL. I called up one of the wine shops (simply because they are the ones that use crates and would prolly have them) in Desa Sri Hartamas, but they said they don't keep theirs. ??!! I have to say, tho, that I haven't been trying hard enough. I could just drop by and ask from all these wine shops, Cold Storage etc. Okay, I am now driven to do so. After looking at the beautiful end product! Wish me luck in my search. If you know where I can get them, do tell! Thank you. Photo taken from Pinterest
