Happy Birthday, Us!

Last weekend, Husband and I celebrated our birthdays. I turned 29 on the 8th and he turned 30(!!) on the 10th.

So, we had a mini birthday celebration weekend with our families and each other. It was nothing special, just going out for meals and spending time alone.
As I grow older, I realised that I don't need the big, fancy parties or dinners anymore. I just want to spend it with people that matter - my families and my closest friends.

Anyways, here is some snippets of what we did on our special days.

The day before, celebrated with the most amazing Chocolate Cake from Just Heavenly.

8th June 2013 - Brunch with my family, sister #2 is missing. Boohoo. But, I guess she'll just bring pressies later. Haha. Went to Jid's baby #2 akikah. Babies melt my heart. Later that night, watched Jurassic Park at the GSC Signature.
9th June 2013. Celebration continues. Spent the day together, doing all sort of things. We were the same age for two days! :)
My girls spoilt me rotten. Grand Hyatt for a belated birthday lunch! Weee. Jid and Dayana missing. That just gives a reason for another celebration. Haha.

10th June 2013. Made a card for my dearest Husband's birthday. Told him not to become a grumpy old man. Hehe.

Fashion Styles: Blouse

If you have been following me on this blog, you’d probably know that I’m such a girly girl. I just love being a girl. Seriously, what’s not to love? We have the best in fashion. Fashion is dedicated to us, women! From hair bands and clips to shoes and stockings, and everything in between. I had many fashion phases growing up. The “Clueless” inspired fashion; checkered pants, preppy blouses and small furry backpacks, short dresses with platforms ala Baby Spice and so much more. But, as I grow older, I stuck to a classic and simple style. My husband loves it when I’m dressed in a simple skinny jeans/pants and blouse . And that has been my staple since I got married. I admit – I would love to be more adventurous in my styles (like in my younger days) but I don’t think my husband can tolerate that. Lol. Over the years of experimenting, I have learned what’s good on me and what’s not, what I like and what I dislike. I prefer blouses; smart casual mostly to cotton tshirts. After tur...

Crates Crazy!

Ohmygod!! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for our home office!!!!! Ahhh, and to think that I got the inspiration without looking at any pictures/blogs/etc. I feel like I very creative like that. Anyhoos, mine hasn't materialized yet because I haven't found the crates in KL. I called up one of the wine shops (simply because they are the ones that use crates and would prolly have them) in Desa Sri Hartamas, but they said they don't keep theirs. ??!! I have to say, tho, that I haven't been trying hard enough. I could just drop by and ask from all these wine shops, Cold Storage etc. Okay, I am now driven to do so. After looking at the beautiful end product! Wish me luck in my search. If you know where I can get them, do tell! Thank you. Photo taken from Pinterest
