Power Plate

Hola! Sorry I've been so hopeless at updating. Since my last post, I have made some progress! *pats back* Bought myself a pair of running/walking/training shoes. I got the Skechers Shape-Ups Liv. And it's ohsem. That spring-y sole makes walking and running a bit more comfortable. It does need some getting use to - that spring-y sole actually works your calf muscles. The first few days of wearing them, I felt some tightness on my bottom and calf, but now they are just so comfy. So, now that I've got my shoes, I ought to be working out more right? And I have! *beams* I've enrolled myself into a powerplate class! I go three times a week and ohmygod, I love it! One session is only for 30 minutes but because you're doing squats and lunges on the vibration plate, you'll be panting and sweating 10 minutes into it. *My stamina is na-da these days* Not to forget, you'll be swearing during the session. "Why do you do this to yourself?" "Kala...

Runnnnnnnnn....

Okay, one of my personal goals here is to lose some weight. After almost a month here, I haven't started on any exercise regime nor have I started dieting. #facepalm The only exercise I get here is the walks that I *have* to take wherever I go. My pedometer says I take on average of about 5,000+ steps each day. And that's not enough! I need to take 10,000 steps each day in order to shift that fat. Gah. And although I'm not dieting, at least I'm eating good healthy food. More soups, salads, vegetables and fruits. And the occasional chocolates and candies:p So, not too bad. But, I'm STILL not losing the kgs! Aih. Losing weight is no easy feat man. So, I've decided to start running. Only to realised that I don't have my running shoes *slapsforehead* Now, I'm scouting around for good, comfortable, long-lasting and not-too-pricey running shoes. For a girl who has a LOT of shoes and LOVE 'em pretty soles, I have no skill in choosing good running shoes. Pre...

Outdated

My BB that is. I currently use Blackberry Bold 2 in black with a missing panel below the keypad, exposing the screws and chips which are not meant to be seen. UGLY, I tell you. But, I stuck with it. Didn't even bother to replace the panel. Honestly, the phone is still okay. If I don't use too much data, battery will last me till evening. I can still call, text, BBM, whatsapp, take pictures etc. Of course, every once in two days I have to take out the battery, because it hangs. But, I've gotten used to it. While I may have accepted the flaws of my BB, my husband (and the rest of the world) cannot. So, I now have that itch to get a new one. In London, no one uses Blackberry. Because it's super boring. Doesn't take nice pictures, nothing-to-shout-about display bla bla bla. I've never used to care about all this until... Apple came into my life. So far, I am using the iMac, the iPod and the iPad. Which I love! So, naturally I want an iPhone. My friend, Jid has told ...

Not forever though, just here for 3 months. And without my Husband! :( I'm missing him soo bad, but I'm also enjoying my time here. C'mon, it's London, taman tumpahnya darahku, literally! So, hopefully now that I finally have Internet connection at home, I'll be able to blog more. Laters lovelies! Xx

The One that Got Away - Katy Perry

My current fav at the moment. I am in love with that guy's husky voice. Just beautiful. I can listen to him over and over. Enjoy!

Hello 2012!

HAPPY TWENTY-TWELVE! Our New Year celebration is a quiet one, this year. We stayed home, made grilled chicken sandwich and salad with honey mustard dressing while watching Matt Damon in The Adjustment Bureau. A few minutes before the clock strikes 12am, we could hear the fireworks starting. And at 12am on-the-dot, the fireworks just went crazy. It was so ohsem that it lit up the skies, with colours blue, yellow, red and green. We did not have a full-on view from our balcony; we actually saw the reflections from the neighbouring condo. Haha. But, it was all good. The most important thing is that I welcomed the new year with the most important man in my life :) Here's to a happy and healthy 2012!

Kota Singapura 2

So I've told you about what I didn't buy. Now, I tell you what I bought! *excited* Jeng jeng jeng..... Aren't they the prettiesttttt?! Hehe, I'm so happy I got them! I never promised I wouldn't buy any shoes now, did I? Hehe. The purchase of this pair did not come without the drama. As per usual la kan, I always drama lebih if nak beli barang2 mahal ni. So, we were walking around in Orchard Road and I decided to go into Ferragamo. Walked in and saw the shoes immediately. Tried them on and love how comfy they are. Asked for my size and jeng jeng jeng, they didn't have my size! Fine, keluar dengan muka sugul. Tapi macam redha masa tu. Haha. BBM-ed my sister and told her about the shoes. Then she said, "kenapa tak tanya if ada kat any other outlet? And you can even ask them to take it from the other outlet kalau ada" I, trying to be all matured and grown up, replied, "takpelah, I'll go myself to the other outlets, kalau ada re...
